  • 2015/16/17 current MES members do not have to submit a completed a District of Metchosin Equestrian Riding Ring Waiver.
  • 2015/16/17 current MES members do not have to submit a completed Metchosin Equestrian Society Acknowledge & Release Form.
  • These forms are not required to be submitted again until 2020. They are good for 5 years.
  • If the MES Acknowledge & Release form was not signed for 2015/16, please submit one with your 2017 membership.

 My-Chosen Paint-In Series Metchosin Equestrian Society Fundraiser  

  If you have always wanted to try to paint, then join us.  All adults are welcome!  

  This is a fun welcoming atmosphere and at a very reasonable rate of $30.00 per session. The next Paint-In will be held on April 23rd and the theme is “Pet Portraits”.  If you have a photo of a pet that you would like to paint; please email it to me at  The canvas will be prepared with an image of your pet sketched in.  Also, please provide your details and request where you can mail your registration fee.  These are all pre-registered events.  You can purchase a second canvas for $5.00 if you would like to paint two pets.  If you don’t have any pet pictures we do have prepared canvases of horses that you can choose from.

   We will be conducting these sessions about every six weeks as per schedule below with the various themes.  These are all on Sundays from 2:00 – 4:00 pm (Liberty Drive/Deerpark Trail area).
April 23rd – Pet Portraits (sample follows: photo with painting)
June 11th – Flowers/garden/blooms (end of spring)
July 23rd – Beach/ocean/lake/country side/landscape
August 27th – Holiday/vacation Pictures
October 8th – Colourful leaves (autumn)
November 19th – Mixed media arts and crafts – Christmas cards
December 3rd – Paint a Christmas present
